Christopher Plummer. Hands down :)
ReplyDeleteYep; Plummer was great in Murder by Decree.
ReplyDeleteJeremy Brett, without a doubt! :)
ReplyDeleteActually, I had a conversation with another Sherlockian recently and she said that she "imprinted" on Jeremy Brett. Meaning, that he was the first Sherlock Holmes she saw after she read the stories, and thus became the image of the character in her mind forever. I really liked the term, and I wonder if other people have that same experience.
You're right; imprinting is an excellent word. I sort of agree with that Sherlockian. Although, Brett was the first, he is the one who comes to mind for me the most.
